Insurance:
I currently accept most PPO/EPO plans as an out-of-network provider.
Please call or email for insurance verification at least 1 business day in advance of your appointment to check your benefits for acupuncture.
Many insurance companies will only cover for certain conditions such as pain management and many don't cover acupuncture at all.
Cancellation Policy:
Please be advised that a credit card number will be required (securely) to hold your first appointment.
There is a 24 hour cancelation and rescheduling policy. Less than 24 hours notice will result in being charged $50 the first time. Future cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full for the missed appointment.
Acupuncture may not be appropriate for people with certain medical conditions such as very high or very low blood pressure. In such cases I reserve the right to refuse treatment based upon my estimation of my capacity to effectively treat a patient without causing harm.
